WHAT ANDREW STANDS FOR

Police Sergeant, Former Mayor, Husband and Father of two.

As a Police Sergeant, a former Mayor, a husband, and a father of two, I understand what keeps families up at night. I’ve sat at the kitchen table worrying about the same things you do—rising costs, public safety, the quality of our schools, and what kind of future we’re leaving for our children.

As a Sergeant in Jersey City, I’ve seen firsthand what happens when communities feel unsafe or unheard. I’ve worked every day to protect families, to build trust, and to make sure people feel secure in their neighborhoods. That same commitment to safety and accountability is what I’ll bring to Trenton.

As the former Mayor of Dumont, I wasn’t afraid to make the hard decisions. I put your tax dollars to work by tackling long-neglected road repairs, improving our parks, and expanding cultural affairs and community events that brought our town together. I focused on real results that improved daily life for residents—because that’s what local government should do.

As a husband, I know the importance of partnership—of listening and working together to solve problems. And as a father of two, with one child just beginning college tours, I feel the same hopes and worries as every parent—about student debt, access to quality education, and whether our kids will be able to afford to stay in New Jersey when they graduate.

This campaign is personal to me because it’s about all of us—no matter where you live, who you love, or what you believe. We all want the same things: safe neighborhoods, good schools, affordable communities, and a future our kids can believe in. That’s the New Jersey I’m fighting for.

Public Safety

  •   Ensure police officers and firefighters have the tools, training, and resources needed to protect our communities, including funding for mental health initiatives to support first responders.
  • Provide funding to address recruitment and retention challenges
  • Safeguard the benefits earned by first responders, including fighting to reinstate COLA (Cost of Living Adjustments) for retirees.

Stabilizing Taxes

  •   Lead the charge to audit the production and effectiveness of all state departments.
  • Establish a intensive, fair, and transparent budget process to scrutinize expenses and eliminate wasteful spending.
  • Stabilize spending by cutting failed initiatives and focusing on essential services.
  • Work with local government to ensure state funding and grant funds are being utilized to offset costs to taxpayers.

Education

  •  Fully fund schools to provide a high-quality education for every child.
  • Increase resources for special education and support for students with disabilities.
  • Fund advanced placement for gifted and talented students.
  • Advocate for modern curriculums and workforce development programs to prepare students for future success.

Backing Our Unions

  • Reduce healthcare costs for public workers like police, fire, and teachers—without sacrificing quality coverage.
  • Public servants deserve fair, competitive pay that reflects their service and helps retain top talent in our communities.
  • Protect the right of workers to organize and bargain for fair contracts and conditions.
  • Stand with unions over special interests and ensure the state keeps its promises to working people.
