It’s Official – We Won the Primary! Now Let’s Flip the 39th.

Yesterday, the Bergen County Clerk’s Office officially certified the June Primary Election results. I’m proud to share that I received 9,137 votes (28.49%), finishing first with a 683-vote lead over second place and more than 3,000 votes ahead of third.

This campaign was never about political insiders—it was about people, progress, and purpose. We ran a grassroots operation focused on real conversations and common-sense solutions, and voters responded with a clear message: they’re ready for change.

I’m grateful to have run alongside David Jiang, who helped make this campaign one of the best I’ve been a part of. As of now, David is just 137 votes behind—a margin of 0.43%—and he’s exploring his options to ensure every vote was counted. I fully support him. Regardless, I’m committed to working with the party to move forward.

As we shift to the general election, our mission is simple: getting back to our Democratic values—supporting working families, standing with public employees, making our communities safer, and fighting for affordability and strong schools.

As a police sergeant and third-generation union worker, I know how far too many in labor and law enforcement feel forgotten. That has to change. We need to restore COLA, lower healthcare costs, and back those who serve—including the police officers who keep our neighborhoods safe. We need an Attorney General who supports law and order, not one who ties officers’ hands.

We must get back to fixing our kitchen table items while protecting those who need protecting. That’s what this campaign is about.
